Personal Information

My name is Kevin, and I was born on January 11, 2008. As of 2025, I am 17 years old.
I'm now living in Beijing, China, and studying at RCF High School (S11, starting in September 2025).
I have Pipi, Dandan (Cat) and Chocolate (Border Collie) in my family (Maybe I will post their photos when I have nothing to post.

I'm interested in Science, new Tech (also retro Tech), Music, Anime and Games
Soon, I will go to the US/UK/Canada/Japan/Singapore (still under decision) to study Physics and Computer Science.

My Interest and Achievement

1. Deep Learning

It is a super deep field, and I'm still a noob now.
I'm still learning fundamentals, also I'm trying some new ideas using PyTorch.
My recent study project is training MNIST digit recognition using pure Rust language without any external library except "rand".
For the future, I want to reproduce some famous papers like Transformer.

2. Computer Science

I love the Open Source culture, and I was a really enthusiastic Linux user (BTW I use Arch .....and Gentoo
I think Computer Network and Decentralised Network are our future. So now I'm trying to make my own thoughts come to people's real lives.
BTW, I'm also a retro computer fan, I like playing old Galgames on the NEC PC-98 platform, and I hope to own a real physical PC-98 computer.

I like hardware too, since I built my own tower PC when I was 11 years old.
And I started learning Arduino at the same time. Now I'm a DIYer, and my main platform is still Arduino + ESP32.

3. Physics
I'm interested in Quantum Computing, but I'm still struggling with some of the most basic questions. I want to learn about Quantum Neural Networks in the future.
These days, I'm preparing for A-Level physics and some competitions.

4. Music
I love Japanese music and Vocaloid culture.

I started learning to produce and arrange music in 2020, now I've already made some Music and I posted them on Bilibili(in the link below).
I'm now learning Pop Piano and E-Guitar, and I'm using Reaper and Logic Pro as my primary DAW.

5.Anime
Watching Anime is my only way to release my stress, the first Anime I've watched is 小林さんちのメイドラゴン when I was graduated from my primary school, and then, I just fell in love with Japanese anime.

After watching a lot, I started trying to make my own Anime. Although I can draw some sketches and I learned drawing before. I still chose to learn 3D animation. Now I have a base skill of creating scenes and characters in Blender.

6. Photography
I like shooting 135 and 120 films with manual cameras. I also develop B&W film myself.
